Beaches on Sobieszewo Island belong to the widest and most beautiful beaches in Gdansk. Sandy, sheltered by a strip of dunes and a pine forest, they are a peaceful oasis for sun and sea bathing. On the 11-kilometer stretch of the island's coast there are many secluded fragments of the beach, where in symbiosis with nature you can find full respite and rest away from the noise of seaside spas. What distinguishes the beaches on the Island from other Gdansk beaches is their pristine nature and lack of tourist crowds, even in the highest season. Everyone will find their own piece of beach here, without a "towel reservation" or waiting for a place.
In the summer season there are also two guarded bathing beaches. They are equipped with aesthetic changing rooms and rinsers with running fresh water for the needs of sunbathers. In the season, beach equipment rentals, such as sunbeds, umbrellas and screens are available at the guarded bathing areas. There are also pitches for beach volleyball and beach football; tournaments, competitions and games are also held there.
